Java Software Engineer (Back End)
Contal is seeking a back end focused Java Software Engineer to join our small but bright Brisbane team as we prepare to expand and market several software developments, in a range of industries including travel, hospitality and aged care, and platforms including iOS and Android.
If you have…
– A university degree in IT;
– In-depth knowledge of the Java 8+ technologies, frameworks and standards;
– Experience in building RESTful APIs (experience with Springboot would be desirable);
– Solid knowledge of ORM like Hibernate or JPA;
– Unix experience; and
– SQL database skills and ability to write complex queries…

We enjoy an enthusiastic, collaborative environment, and use an Apache foundation, Asterisk, and RedHat Linux to name a few. We work on Macs, though no problem if you haven’t before, as long as you’re happy to learn.
